The fantastic story tells of a strange story that happened with the ordinary Lyubov philistine Leni Tikhomirov. Until that time, no miraculous events were observed in Lyubimov, standing under the Wet Mountain, but, on the contrary, there was a large Komsomol and intellectual stratum, and life was completely socialist under the leadership of the secretary of the city committee, Tishchenko Semen Gavrilovich. But Lenya Tikhomirov, a descendant of the nobleman Proferansov, gained wonderful power over people and only by the strength of his will made Tishchenko resign. He reigned in the city and declared Lyubimov a free city, and before that, in a fantastic tradition, turning around either a fox or a motorcycle, he won a landslide victory over Tishchenko.

The fact is that Proferensov Samson Samsonych was not a simple landowner, but a wise man and a Theosophist, and left a manuscript with which you could acquire a giant jule to subjugate other people's actions and direct fate. Here Lenya Tikhomirov found the manuscript of his long-time ancestor. And he began to establish a communist utopia in the city of Lyubimov, as he understood this matter. First of all, he fed everyone. That is, inspired them that they eat sausage. And indeed there was sausage, and there was wine - but a strange thing! - the head from a hangover did not hurt, and in general: you drink, you drink, and as if nothing. Then Lenya pardoned all the criminals. And then he began to build dictatorial communism, in which everyone is well-fed, but he thinks for everyone, because he knows best how best.

But in the meantime, the city of Lyubimov was besieged from all sides by the Soviet government, in order, therefore, to eliminate the dictator Lenya and restore order. Does not exceed! Because Lenya voluntarily made the city invisible. Only the indomitable detective Vitaly Kochetov got there, written off from the editor-in-chief of the journal "October", a notorious obscurantist. This same Vitaly Kochetov came to Lena in Lyubimov and suddenly saw that everything was right in the city! Everything is as it should! And even more communist than in the Soviet Union! Complete dictatorship, and one thinks for everyone! And Vitaly was filled with love for Lena, asked for his service and wrote about it to his closest friend Anatoly Sofronov, deducted from the chief editor of Ogonyok.

And I must tell you that Lenya made this whole escapade solely out of love for a beautiful woman named Serafima Petrovna, and, having gained power over everyone, Lenya got her love right now. All this epic is told to us by another Preference, not even a relative of Samson Samsonych, and his name is Savely Kuzmich - but someone invades the manuscript of Savely Kuzmich all the time, makes footnotes, appends comments ... This is the spirit of Samson Samsonych Proferensov. He reads the manuscript, monitors events and sees that it is time for him to intervene.

And it was time for him to intervene because God was with him, with Lenya, and with the enslaved Seraphim, and even with the enslaved city - but Lenya had already swung to re-educate her mother. He began to suggest that there is no God. She feeds and watered him, sickly, withered by state concerns, and he tells her: “There is no God! There is no god!" “Don't you dare touch the mothers!” - exclaims the spirit of Proferensov - and deprives Lenya of his miraculous power.

And it turned out that Serafima Petrovna was Jewish, and there was nothing to be done about it, that is, there were things in the world that were not subject to Lena. And since Jews are like pepper in soup or yeast in a pie, then Seraphim Petrovna was the first to be tired of Lenin's well-being. She left him.

And then others reached out of the city - as if everyone was immediately tired of what Lenya was thinking for them. Only the faithful Vitaly Kochetov remained, but he was moved by an amphibious tank, because Lenin, now empty, as if extinct, has now become visible to everyone. On kochetovskoy walkie-talkie he took direction. And Lyubovtsy scattered in the surrounding fields. Thus ended the great communist experiment on the introduction of abundance and unanimity.

And Lenya fled to Chelyabinsk in a freight train and, falling asleep in a carriage under the whistle of a steam locomotive, felt better than in the role of dictator.

One trouble - in the vicinity of Lyubimov, there are arrests, the investigation, the townspeople are caught and questioned, so that this manuscript should be hidden as soon as possible under the floorboard ... They will not find it.
