Kissing, young people hear laughter and see a naked boy standing nearby, waist-deep in the water. This is a schoolboy Kolya, brother of Anna Semyonovna. He promises to tell what he saw to mom. For his silence, he demands a ruble. The next day, Anna gives her brother all of her pillboxes, and Ivan brings paint and a ball from the city.
